Keith
Keith dreamed up this podcast idea after having dinner with two friends and fellow veterans, one of which had already separated from the military and the other who was preparing to retire. Their stories, along with his own experience of transitioning from active duty, inspired Keith to want to give veterans a platform to tell their stories. Keith has served for 17 years in the Navy, 10 on active duty and 7 with the reserves. He currently flies the C-40 for VR-57 out of NAS North Island and is a firefighter for the Orange County Fire Authority.
Laura
Laura brings the unique perspective of what this transition experience is like for the spouse of the veteran. She and Keith were married during flight school. Laura managed to obtain a MS in Leadership and a PhD Organizational Systems despite Keith’s many deployments and detachments. Keith and Laura have two teenage daughters and live in Carlsbad, CA.
